Well, the inevitable happened. I got sick. Not too bad, but I was feeling under the weather a bit yesterday and then it all hit me this morning, after our visit to Tsukiji fish market. I spent most of the day in bed, but after some miracle drugs, I was able to make it out for dinner!! But first, some photos from the market, before we got kicked out for taking photos too early:

Umm, needle fish? |

Prawns...of some variety |

And uni, as far as the eye could see! |
No documentation for the middle of the day, so on to dinner! We had reservations at Takazawa, one of Tokyo's best restaurants, and one of the top 30 in the world. And we found out why. I planned to post all the photos I had taken during dinner, but it turns out this blog doesn't support 40-photo downloads at one time very well, so here are the highlights. Hands down, this was the best dinner any of us
ever had:

 |

The entire meal was incredible and we all feel we may be ruined for life! So happy and satisfied, we found our way through Kabukicho to the famous Park Hyatt for a nightcap:

What an incredible evening. I highly recommend that when you come to Tokyo, you spend your last night here as we just did. You won't regret it. Off to Kyoto tomorrow on the Shinkansen (bullet train). We'll report back soon!
