Merry Christmas! Today we slept in a bit and met up with our driver to tour the southern end of the island - Pantai Pandawan, Uluwatu, Ayara Rock Bar and seafood in Jinbaran.
To kick off the tour, we enjoyed some sun at Pantai Pandawan, a local beach with beautiful water and fun waves to play in. We spent about an hour just relaxing on some lounge chairs, taking in the view:

Since we were all a bit sun-shy from yesterday's snorkel burns, we headed off the Uluwatu for our temple-of-the-day excision. Uluwatu is quite famous for sunsets, as it's carved into the stone in the cliffs high above the sea:
Because we wanted to see so much today, we didn't have the luxury of hanging around for sunset, so we did our best to see what we could in the heat and humidity.
In desperate need of a drink, we made our way to Rock Bar, one of the hip spots in the area for cocktails, but it was so cool that we had to wait for 45 minutes to get in! And we had to ride a gondola-type tram car from the hotel to the bar below:
After a satisfying couple of drinks, we drive to our final spot of the day - a seafood restaurant on the beach in Jimbaran. Henry and Andrew picked out some amazing crab, lobster and shrimp for dinner, but the view was the part to write home about:

We're exhausted, but had a wonderful Christmas day. We hope you're all having a great holiday, too! Tomorrow is our last day in Bali, then off the Japan!
